window of the world

once upon a time, my English teacher told us that a book is "The Window of The World", and yeah it is true. i didn't precisely know since when i start reading books, but since i was little i had always been interested in reading novels, Indonesian one of course. but as i grow older, i realize that i need to start liking English books since it help me to learn English more. and here i am now, a girl who likes to read, and I'm excited to read new books, new inspiration, new stories, new imagination!

this is one of the best book i read so far, it tells about a psychiatrist who went on a trip to seek the true meaning of happiness, it is a extravagant novel

and today i went to my friend birthday lunch, and this is what i wear :

i can't believe how fast time goes, but today is the last day of July. i just felt really blessed, this month is very special to me, and many surprising thing happened, and i'm also gonna thank you guys who left a comment on my blog, it means a lot to me :)

getting away for a while

when i see the sky so blue and full of puffy clouds, i think to myself, "what a wonderful world", but all good things are not everlasting, as i only went on this trip for a few days, and this trip is not a holiday. the truth is sometimes i feel like i want to have a long long trip, like the one Julia Roberts did in Eat Pray and Love, and this trip makes me think about a lot of things in my life and for my future. i also did a little shopping thou, that i will show in my next post :) ! anyway, back to reality, now i'm living in the real world, and one word could describe it, "HECTIC". *take a deep breath*, since now i'm in grade 12, everything seems more tight now, the schedule, the exams, the standard of the score, and every preparation for university, everything seems twice harder than it used to be! and finding a time for me to blog is really hard too :(

sorry for the boring style, this is actually my casual style, and since this is a short trip, i didn't prepare anything special to wear.

and also i find this store very cute, it's paul frank the store :)

everything is quite nice in this so short trip, but one thing that i really regret. i lose my bangles, 3 to be exact. when i tried some clothes in a shop, i left my bangles in the hanger of the fitting room, and i forgot to took it back. and now here i am, regretting the lost of my bangles. Bye Bye lovely bangles, you guys have been so good to me!

firstly, sorry for the late updates, but i just got back from a 'ret - ret' in my school, i don't know what's the name in English. i had a blast, and the 'ret-ret' made me learned a lot of things, and how i should become a better person.

by the way, if you notice, i did cut my hair, about 15 cm. i like my new shorter hair, i feel more fresh, and have no regret at all!

And, i have received a lovely award from Just Dress Me Up , Thank you so much Mita! :) , and i need to post 7 things about my self, well, here it goes :)

1. I am a teenager trying to be somebody one day, i'm a hardworking girl, but sometimes that laziness hits me, and it's an obstacle for me.

2. I love having my own me time, even though i like to hang outs with my friends or family, having a me time is such a great thing to do. such as playing my guitar, drawing, or even combining my clothes.

3. I love a game of solitaire, call me boring, but that's the first game that i learned by my self :)

4. I'm not a sporty girl, because basically i suck at sports, but i love swimming.

5. I am a food lover, and i'm the type of girl that can get fat easily, so it's kind a hard, since i like to eat, and try different kind of food.

6. I have three lovely dogs, Chelsea, Ruffle, and Snowie, but sadly Chelsea had passed away.

7. I adore Oprah Winfrey as my hero, i have a dream of becoming someone that can bring positive impact to many other people, and i'm hoping to create my own book one day!

coming back

5 words, I Miss Blogging So Much! I'm sorry for not updating in a week, but this is all because there's a critical error in my notebook. i don't know why, but there's a problem in the windows, but gladly my brother can fix it :) well many things happened, and yesterday i faced one of the biggest fear in my life which is having my birthday party. it was very threatening, because yesterday traffic was so bad, but everything went wonderful in the end, i have my happy ending. i will soon upload the photos to my blog!

here's another shot of me, and currently i was into maxi skirt, and wooden heels with platform! love this cropped top print, and love the rings! let me tell you, the first time i saw that ring, it felt like the ring wanted me to bought it!

seventeen candles

photo taken a year ago, my 16th bday cake.

when you see a cake, with candles, and writings in it, all you can say is, "someone is having a birthday", and yeah! yesterday, precisely at 8th of July, i officially turn seventeen :). the feeling? Happy? oh yeah, i was surprised actually when my friends showed up at my home, at 12 o'clock. all i can say is, God has been really amazing, and blessed me till now. without him, i will not be able to write this blog, to say thanks for all His gift. i want to change, to a better person, and i really hope i can bring a positive influence to all my readers, and hopefully, i can be more mature!

and for this year, i was really touch, they gave me 17 food that i like, and i'm very touch. if you notice, you can spot the banana and apple. get it? banana + apple + blender = bananaapplejuice!

chameleon

it's been a while from my last post, and now i'm feeling better. but lately, i've been busy preparing for my birthday party, and it drives me nuts! i really wish now is august, i don't know why, but after this all i can finally relax, and focusing more on my future life. anyway, i've been thinking about something, have you ever feel so attached in something? i know it's kind a confusing, but the main point is, i lost my comfort zone. time has flown by, and i will miss all the past memories, and one of them is being comfort and accepted in a group of people. and know, life changed, and you will have to adapt, it's kind hard, but my friend once told me, "be like a chameleon, they adapt in their situation", maybe all things need time. *sigh* oh btw, 4 more days till my born day, so nervous!
