so.. here's the basic question, "How am i doing now?"
i'm currently in Singapore. i will be here for a long time, because i go to university here. i'm so sorry for all my absences. it's been a week since i moved here, and i haven't actually settle yet. i live in a dorm now, and the internet connection is really bad! we don't use wi-fi, but instead we use lan cable. so you can imagine how slow my internet is...
hmmm, i have met lots of new friends. i met a lot of Indonesian friends, Malaysian, china, Korean, Singaporean, and Indian :) all of them are very very nice! and.. university life is simply so different from high school. i can't lie, but honestly i do miss high school :( i miss all of my friends. my friends also go study abroad, so our friendship is gonna be long distance.
oh yeah, i also feel homesick. maybe because i haven't start any activities yet. i need to get myself active. the more active i am, the more i will forget about my home.
but most of all, i miss my parents. i do care about them like a LOT. i really wish i can hug them right now.
moreover, i want to make a clear statement. many people said that , "you're only going to Singapore. cmon, it's "just" Singapore. you're so close to home, don't be so hyperbolic"
well that's true but also wrong! i know the fact is, Singapore close to Indonesia. but still, leaving home and everything make me miss home. i just need time to really settle in this new country :) i just need time!
anyway, below are some pictures i've captured while i was sight seeing in Singapore! the first time i arrived here, i was accompanied by my mom.
Ion Mall - Orchard
top - zara, shorts - forever 21, shoes - little things she needs, bag - celine
also, for my orientation week, we all went to different places in Singapore. On this heritage tour, we went to Kampong Glam, China Town, and Little India. all of these places were super nice!
Kampong Glam
China Town
Little India
in case you're wondering, this is a picture of where i live now. i have to stay in a dorm for 4 months! so this is my bed, and also my desk. so far so good, i quite enjoy the place where i live :) i hope i can get use to it more! God bless u all :)
Also, HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY INDONESIA
i love you so so much. it's sad that now, i don't have a celebration to celebrate Independence Day! but it's ok, as long as i know where my heart belongs :)
