Funny thing that i found an amazing quote by Oprah, because growing up, I always admired her. She is an amazing woman, full of thanksgiving in her life despite her painful past, she had an amazing vision about the world, and she cares about people. I am amazed by her. But this post is not about Oprah, It's about having a grateful attitude towards the thing you had in life.

On this special month, i got to experience my birthday, which was on 8th of July.

Talking a bit of birthdays, i never liked one actually. I know it sounds weird, but i'm not the type of people that like "birthdays". For me it's just another same day, and nothing special. I don't get all excited or something, for me it's just a day.

But this year, i want to have something special for my birthday. I had a theme, which i called, "Gratitude". I'm simply grateful for my 20 years of life, thankful because God was so faithful to me, to all my struggles, ups and downs, You were always there God, so thank you :). My family and friends, who were always there for me, despite how i had changed a lot, you guys were the ones that remained in my life, so thank you. For my dogs, just for being yourself, cute and lovable, i thank you a lot. For all the things in life, i just want to enjoy each moment with a grateful attitude.

I SHOUT AND SCREAM WHEN I GOT THIS!! I desperately need a new camera, for blogging and stuff, and this Samsung NX Mini is so cute! Thanks to my brother for being the mastermind of this gift!

Also, Thank you for my friend Stephanie Angelina, all the way from Singapore for this gift! you know what i need <3 nbsp="">

My besties from Junior High, i really had a great time spending my summer with you guys! Thank you for the lovely cake! (Felicia, Me, Patricia) <3 nbsp="">

And this was a huge surprise, my friends from high school suprised me and my friend Stella! Thank you peeps <3 nbsp="">

Sunday news

so hello guys! this is a post about yesterday, i'm gonna tell you what happened yesterday! yesterday was ok, yet i am so lazy to do anything. i picked up my brother today from the airport, and the we went for lunch and church! today was all about quality time with family, oh yeah HAPPY FATHER's DAY to all fathers out there! i think we should celebrate fathers day just like mothers day! i'm grateful to have my DAD he is amazing!
so next topic, lately i'm really into reading (i'm not that kind of 'non fiction' readers that are really intelligent) but i do like the feeling of the reading, and oh! i also been trying to get my life more balance by doing more sports. talking about sports.. i've never been that sporty girl in my whole life! i've tried playing soccer.. but then i let someone made a goal on my team.. i've tried basketball, but when i got the ball i got to excited and i ended up made a shoot on the other team's ring (oopsiee...) then i tried so many sports, and yes i suck at it. but i finally found the one sport that really accept me for who i really am which is.... SWIMMING! yeah who doesn't like swimming? it is very relaxing, no sweaty feeling, and very relaxed :') totally love that after swimming feeling! moreover... i'm about to start something interesting next week, but i can't tell what is it in my blog, but i will soon give hints! and today look was all about trying to look smart? hahaha, ok i haven't got many shots, this is all i got! :D

this time i do wear glasses now, because back in Singapore i liked to study in the dark (weird habits i know), and then when i got back, i got a minus in my two eyes. *sigh*

i forget the name of the place, but this is located in Dubai! all interesting buildings suppose to be located in Dubai right?

for me this picture is quite interesting because of the giant rubber duck. i really wish i had one, that would be nice!

and this is one of my dream vacation, to go canoeing in a super see through water! the water is amazing. i think lately i'm obsessed with vacation that relates to water hihi.

one last thing, this one i just gotta share it. so i always had a bad history with technology, well let's just i'm not that careful on holding my technology. so here is the story, iPod has always been an important gadget for me. even though i have my phone, and other sources where i can use the mp3 player, i still need my iPod. everywhere i go, i always use my iPod, when i'm studying, or walking, jogging, shopping, my iPod is always there for me. so when my first iPod broke down because of the LCD i'm really sad. the iPod is still in good function, but i just can't see the screen because the LCD crack. so then i decided to buy my friend's old iPod. it's the old model, but it's still good to hear music with it, but suddenly, i lost it when i was in the Coffee bean. so that situation was hard for me, no iPod *sigh* then i told my brother, where can i find a good quality secondhand iPod? because i don't need a new one, a secondhand one is good enough for me... the TADAAAA he surprised me yesterday by knocking on my door and said "happy early birthday present!" gosh i'm truly blessed to have him as my brother, he is sweet in his own ways! <3 nbsp="" p="">

and the color is blue, my fav color!

remember the in the last post? i did tell you that i was going to Penang for couple of days. but this trip wasn't exactly a holiday, because it's more of a family thing. anyway, a lot of things happened! when i'm mean a lot, i really mean like SO MANY THING HAPPENED! really i don't know where to start.

first of all, this trip was awesome, because i learned so many things about life, and it leads me to one simple world. Grateful. many of us is not aware of our own situation, and many of us compare our life from one and another. let just be honest, i often compare my life to other people life. like often i see someone who 'i think' have greater life than me, and it's making me feel like, why i'm like this? after this trip i concluded one statement. we're too focused on the things that disappointed us, rather than the things that shine us. yeah we see our weakness as a huge pile of trash, and there's nothing we can do about it. and also we do this to other people. we see their weaknesses, and we often forget about the positive thing about them!are

second lesson, i learned that i should be more careful. remember in my previous post about me loosing my data from my laptop? well, it's quite similar, but this is worse. i lost my phone. yes, sadly i lost my blackberry when i was in Penang. can't really remembered what happened, but i lost it. i felt really awful, and it's the guilty feeling that you had when you lost something important. the thing that made me sad is that i lost my memories, my photos (again), and this one is the saddest, my notes. yes i write a lot of my stories for the past few years in that phone. so it's sad to lost it. but the value i got from this, is that i need to appreciate things more, and maybe more careful? of course i'll be more careful next time!

and last this is the whole conclusion, i learned to always, ALWAYS say Thanks to God no matter what situation i'm in. i mean there's a lot of things to be thankful about. i'm grateful for the life that God gives to me, i'm grateful for being me, for having a generous and caring parents, my super family, and my lovely friends to share my life with. i'm not perfect, but it's ok :) i'm going to be a better person now! and also, don't look up too often. seeing other people greater than us, will make us feel so small. just stay there, and say thanks for every single day!
